Cook/Cook Assistant
We are currently looking to hire an entry level production cook to learn our products and process. We are a "hot packing" facility; we process natural and organic sauces, preserves, jams, fruit butters, salsas, apple sauces, and similar products. Job duties consist of hot bottle processing, operating and tending to large kettles and boilers, recording production and test data, observing gauges, dials, and product characteristics, reading recipes to determine cooking times, temperatures, and ingredient specifications. Must have basic knowledge of high school algebra. Only career minded, dedicated, reliable, and detail oriented individuals with strong work ethic should apply.
